While semi-trucks handle the highways, we rely on elite commercial operators driving 24-to-26-foot Box Trucks to navigate the tightest urban cores and industrial parks. As an XPO Logistics LTL Box Truck Driver (Pickup and Delivery), you are the agile face of our commercial freight network. You will navigate city streets, making multiple stops to pick up and deliver heavy palletized freight directly to businesses that cannot accommodate a 53-foot trailer. LTL Box Truck Operations

• City P&D Navigation: Safely pilot a massive commercial straight truck through heavily congested city traffic, tight industrial parks, and complex commercial loading zones where larger trucks cannot fit.
• Freight Handling & Liftgate Work: This is a hands-on role. Because you are delivering to businesses without proper loading docks, you will rely heavily on your truck's hydraulic liftgate and a manual pallet jack to lower 1,000+ lb pallets to the street level safely.
• Logistics Documentation: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client. You must meticulously verify freight conditions, sign Bills of Lading (BOLs), and process hazardous materials (HazMat) paperwork correctly.
• Dynamic Dispatch: Unlike dedicated routes, LTL P&D routes change daily based on customer demand. You must possess the spatial awareness to reorganize your box truck on the fly as you pick up new outbound freight throughout the day.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. A Class B or Class A CDL is highly preferred (and often required) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements. You must have extensive, verifiable experience driving large box trucks and operating liftgates/pallet jacks. You must possess a pristine motor vehicle record and pass a strict DOT physical, background check, and drug test.
