Command the Commercial Fleet

FedEx Ground relies on elite Independent Service Providers (ISPs) to execute bulk commercial deliveries daily. We are actively seeking experienced commercial operators for the role of FedEx Ground Box Truck Driver. In this position, you will bypass small residential cargo vans to take the wheel of a massive 16-to-26-foot commercial straight truck. This vehicle allows you to transport significantly higher volumes of palletized freight, focusing on heavy commercial, industrial, and B2B deliveries. Box Truck Operations

• Commercial Driving Mastery: Safely navigate a massive box truck through tight industrial parks, complex alleyways, and congested commercial loading docks. Master the use of oversized mirrors and hydraulic liftgates.
• High-Volume Freight Execution: Utilize manual and electric pallet jacks to maneuver heavy, palletized freight in and out of your cargo bay. You will systematically load and retrieve packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• DOT Compliance: As a commercial box truck operator, you are strictly bound by Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and manage your digital Hours of Service (HOS).

Requirements

Background check and drug screening required.
