Waste management is one of the most essential, recession-proof industries in the world. As a Residential Waste & Recycling Route Driver, you are a vital municipal operator. You will pilot a massive, highly complex Automated Side Loader (ASL) or Rear Loader garbage truck through a dedicated, highly repetitive residential route. This is a highly skilled route driver role that offers incredibly stable daytime hours, robust union-level benefits, and the pride of performing a critical public service.

Waste Logistics Operations

• Heavy Equipment Mastery: Safely operate a massive Class B commercial vehicle. If driving an Automated Side Loader, you will utilize complex joystick controls and camera systems to grab, dump, and replace residential waste bins without leaving the cab.
• High-Density Routing: Execute a sprawling daily route, servicing hundreds of homes in a single shift. You must navigate tight cul-de-sacs, avoid parked cars, and monitor constantly for children and pets in suburban environments.
• Landfill & Transfer Operations: At the end of the route, safely navigate the chaotic, heavy-machinery environment of the local landfill or recycling transfer station to dump your payload.
• Pre-Trip Safety Audits: Conduct highly rigorous DOT pre-trip inspections of the truck's complex hydraulic systems, air brakes, and mechanical arms to ensure flawless operation.

Requirements

Must be 21+ years old with a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) equipped with an Air Brake endorsement. You must possess a highly secure motor vehicle record. You must have the ability to sit, focus, and operate complex mechanical controls for an entire 10-hour shift. A rigorous DOT physical and drug screening are mandatory.
