Local independent auto parts distributors rely on versatile professionals who understand every aspect of the business. As a Hybrid Warehouse & Delivery Driver for US Auto Parts (or a similar local distributor), you will not just sit behind the wheel. You will spend half of your shift operating inside the warehouse—picking orders, operating forklifts, and managing inventory—and the other half driving a company van to deliver those exact parts to local garages. This dual-role provides incredible variety, prevents the monotony of doing one single task, and makes you an invaluable logistical asset to the company.

Hybrid Operations

• Warehouse Fulfillment: Start your day utilizing RF scanners to pick complex auto parts orders from massive racking systems. You will securely pack the items into delivery totes, ensuring absolute accuracy.
• Fleet Loading: Execute the physical loading of the delivery vans. You must utilize spatial reasoning to organize the freight sequentially based on the delivery route, ensuring heavy items are secured at the base.
• Delivery Execution: Jump into the driver's seat and execute a dense, multi-stop commercial route, dropping off the very parts you just picked directly to the awaiting mechanics.
• Cross-Training: You will be fully trained on warehouse safety, potentially earning your forklift certification, while also mastering defensive commercial driving techniques.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred for insurance) with a valid standard driver's license and a clean driving record. You must possess the physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in the warehouse. Previous warehouse picking experience or automotive parts knowledge is highly preferred. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
