The explosion of online retail has created a massive demand for Final Mile Parcel delivery. As an Independent Contractor Driver for major logistical networks (like Amazon Flex, Veho, or OnTrac), you will use your personal vehicle to deliver a daily manifest of small to medium-sized retail packages to residential homes and apartment complexes. This is a high-volume, fast-paced gig where efficiency and route optimization directly dictate your hourly earnings.

• High-Volume Execution: You will pick up a designated block of packages (e.g., 30-50 parcels) from a local sorting facility and execute a dense, highly efficient neighborhood route.
• No Food, No Mess: Forget spilling drinks or keeping food hot. You are delivering sealed retail boxes and polybags, keeping your vehicle interior clean and odor-free.
• Block Scheduling: Many final-mile platforms operate on "blocks" (e.g., a 3-hour or 4-hour route). You know exactly how long you will be working and exactly what the base payout is before you even start the engine.

Operational Considerations

Final mile delivery requires excellent organizational skills. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, reliable personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, or van), active auto insurance, and a modern smartphone. You must have the physical stamina to constantly enter and exit your vehicle and navigate residential walkways. Background check required.
