You will pilot a massive, highly complex Automated Side Loader (ASL) or Rear Loader garbage truck through a dedicated, highly repetitive residential route. Waste Logistics Operations
- Heavy Equipment Mastery: Safely operate a massive Class B commercial vehicle. If driving an Automated Side Loader, you will utilize complex joystick controls and camera systems to grab, dump, and replace residential waste bins without leaving the cab.
- High-Density Routing: Execute a sprawling daily route, servicing hundreds of homes in a single shift. You must navigate tight cul-de-sacs, avoid parked cars, and monitor constantly for children and pets in suburban environments.
- Landfill & Transfer Operations: At the end of the route, safely navigate the chaotic, heavy-machinery environment of the local landfill or recycling transfer station to dump your payload.
- Pre-Trip Safety Audits: Conduct highly rigorous DOT pre-trip inspections of the truck's complex hydraulic systems, air brakes, and mechanical arms to ensure flawless operation.
