Deliver Iconic Brands with PepsiCo
Supermarkets, convenience stores, and gas stations rely on massive, daily deliveries of purified water, sodas, and sports drinks. As a PepsiCo Beverage Distribution Box Truck Driver, you will command a specially customized commercial straight truck (often a side-bay or standard rear-load box truck with a heavy-duty liftgate), executing a highly scheduled daily manifest. You will drop off towering pallets of beverages and restock commercial displays. This is a heavily physical, customer-facing role that offers incredibly high earning potential for the hardest workers.
Route & Box Truck Duties
- Commercial Navigation: Operate a massive 24-to-26-foot box truck. You must expertly navigate commercial parking lots, safely backing into receiving docks or maneuvering into tight alleyways to unload.
- High-Volume Unloading: This is an incredibly physical job. You will utilize electric pallet jacks or heavy-duty two-wheel hand trucks to maneuver pallets of liquid freight (weighing literally tons) off the truck's liftgate and into the store's backroom.
- Merchandising & Upselling: Act as the face of the brand. You will interact with store managers, process digital invoices, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and physically build product displays on the retail floor.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Ensure accurate daily loading of full pallets and the secure retrieval and storage of empty plastic shells and wooden pallets for the return trip to the bottling plant.
The Delivery Advantage
Enjoy a highly active job that completely replaces the need for a gym membership. PepsiCo routes are strictly local, meaning no long-haul overnight trips. You will earn a highly competitive base salary strongly bolstered by route sales commissions and component pay. Enjoy elite corporate benefits including health, 401(k), and pension plans (where applicable).
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old. A valid Class A or Class B CDL is almost universally required due to the extreme weight of liquid freight inside the box truck. You must present a clean, highly professional appearance and possess excellent communication skills. Elite physical stamina is required to move heavy beverage pallets continuously all day. A highly rigorous background check and DOT physical are mandatory.
